  • One of the largest global volunteers’ program management organizations in the world needed a centralized system which serves internal users as well as the volunteers in different ways
  • Right from the volunteer registration, choosing the program from around the world, receiving online payment, managing the schedules, providing instructions/information, gathering feedback at the end and sharing with everyone.
  • Analyze the current processes, some of them still paper based, the others based on different software systems and come up with new software architecture.
  • Design an easy to use, extremely professional, pleasant website for the external users i.e. volunteers.
  • Creating an internal workflow system which is efficient and flexible enough to change the workflows using the administration module.
  • Pcube Technologies designed & implemented the new system based on SharePoint for internal users. For external users, we continued with the SiteCore CMS (www.sitecore.net) which they had purchased and were using already. SiteCore turned out to be excellent choice as CMS and almost all the content changes are done by the customers at their end.
  • It is used by the internal users which has document management, internal workflow system, basic accounting system and integration with QuickBooks.
  • The solution has made the internal users extremely satisfied with the new system and has achieved 50% productivity gains i.e. able to manage 50% more volunteers/programs with the same number of employees across the world.
  • On the other hand, volunteers have extremely well designed website and 95% of the volunteers have provided excellent feedback about the feedback since the new website has been launched.
